President and Founding Principal

Prasanth Tanikella has over a decade of experience designing various structures ranging from high-end single-family residences, multi-family residential buildings, schools, hospitality, commercial buildings, parking structures and public infrastructure projects including transit, water and wastewater structures to building retrofit designs. His professional and collaborative design approach with clients, architects, other consultants, and contractors has been the hallmark of his career. His ability to integrate various other aspects of building design by solving problems from a structural perspective is what stands out.

Prasanth received his undergraduate education in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and dual M.S in Construction Materials and Structural Engineering from Purdue University.

Prasanth is an active committee member of the Professional Practices Committee in the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC). He strives to make the practice of Structural Engineering transparent and accessible.

His interests outside of the professional practice includes playing badminton, tennis and cricket. He is often seen at the movie theaters and music concerts, and has a special appreciation of classical music.
